National Institute of Forensic Medicine is the function of forensic , research and study forensic science applications, build professional standards of forensic expertise, program development and professional training institutions forensic examiner for forensic medicine, forensic professional guidance to organizations in the national forensics and perform the functions and duties as prescribed in Article 7 of Decree No. 67/2005/ND- CP May 19, 2005 of the Government detailing the implementation of some articles of the Judicial Inspection Ordinance.

The Institute has the task: 1.
